Professional Experience
Dr. Ibrahim Bin Afsar Jan is a consultant Paediatrician with specialist interest in neonates. He has been working as an Assistant Professor in Paediatrics & Neonates at Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar since April,2018. In addition to being the unit uncharge of neonatology ward at HMC Peshawar,Dr.Ibrahim is also actively involved in the teaching faculty at Khyber Girls Medical College,Peshawar.
Dr.Ibrahim Jan did his graduation from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar. He went abroad for post graduate training to the United Kingdom and after the completion of membership exam (MRCPCH,London), he did a fellowship programme in neonates before returning to Pakistan after 15 years.
Dr Ibrahim is a master trainer of newborn life support in Pakistan. In addition he is the lead focal person for a number of UNICEF projects in KPK. He remains a registered member of General Medical Council,UK.
Dr.Ibrahim Jan is capable of dealing with most of the common emergencies ranging from newborn till adolescence (18 years old).
