Dr. Sana Iqbal is working as a Consultant Radiologist at Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre, Peshawar. As a Radiology Specialist, Dr. Sana reports on different types of Scans, such as MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Dexa Scans and X-Rays, to diagnose different diseases.
Prior to joining NWGH, Dr. Sana worked at Rehman Medical Institute as a Fellowship Trainee In Cross Sectional Body Imaging.
Dr. Sana is a member of the Radiological Society of Pakistan (RSP). During her academic career, Dr. Sana Iqbal has been awarded a Certificate of Merit, for Small Airway Disease on High-Resolution Computed Tomography (HRCT) by European Society of Radiology.
Dr. Sana Iqbal completed her medical education from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar in 2006. She then continued to do her Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) training at Khyber Teaching Hospital, Peshawar. Following her specialization, Dr. Sana did her fellowship in Cross Sectional Body Imaging from Rehman Medical Institute, Peshawar from 2018 to 2019, under the supervision of Shah Jehan Alam.
