Dr. Hamid Fazeel is a Consultant Burns, Plastic, Reconstructive, Hand & Aesthetic Surgeon at Northwest Teaching Hospital & Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre, Peshawar. He is part of teaching faculty at Northwest School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor.
Dr. Hamid graduated from Ayub Medical College in 2008. After getting a Professional Diploma in Hospital Management (PDHM) from NUST, he did his MRCSEd from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK and Fellowship in Plastic Surgery-FCPS (Plast.) from CPSP. He was trained at Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad & Jinnah Burn & Reconstructive Surgery Center, Lahore, which is the center of excellence for Burns, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery within the country. He then gained fellowship experience in Pediatric Plastic Surgery from Children Hospital & Institute of Child Health, Lahore & holds another Fellowship in Hypospadiology & Disorders of Sexual Differentiation from NWSHDSD, (Aivar Bracka Fellowship).
His department provides full range Plastic Surgery services including but not limited to beautification/alteration of the human body including Rhinoplasties, Abdominoplasties, Breast reshaping, Body Contouring, Facial aesthetic procedures including Facelifts, Blephroplasties, Fat transfers and Scar management.
His area of expertise lies in Paediatric Plastic Surgery including Cleft lips, Palate & Genital Surgery along with Burns, Aesthetic, Hand and Microsurgery.
He also has a number of publications under his belt and his work is frequently cited nationally & internationally. He is involved in Graduate & Post-Graduate Training in Plastic Surgery. Furthermore, he serves as a regular faculty for the Primary Trauma Course.
