Prior to joining Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre Peshawar, Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Khan gained professional experience while working in the UK. On his return to Pakistan, he worked as a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon in Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar and Rehman Medical Institute as well.
Dr. Zahoor completed his MBBS from KMC in 1978. He then went abroad for further studies and training. His Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) was obtained after the completion of his training in cardiothoracic surgery in Belfast and Birmingham.
